Former One Direction band member and artist Liam Payne has passed away.
Per Mason Leib and Angeline Jane Bernabe of Good Morning America, Payne, 31, reportedly fell from the third floor of his hotel room in Argentina. Unfortunately, he died on the scene. The young singer rose to fame over a decade ago after appearing on X Factor as part of the boy band One Direction.
With his bandmates ― Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Harry Styles ― the Wolverhampton, England native released five studio albums and earned hundreds of awards. Payne also churned out two EPs and a studio album as a solo artist.
