2025 Three-Star RB Monterrio Elston Commits to Kansas State

Chris Klieman and the Kansas State Wildcats added a new name to the Class of 2025 on Saturday with the commitment of three-star running back Monterrio Elston.

Elston, a 5-foot-8 speedster from Arkansas, chose the Wildcats over the Missouri Tigers and the Arkansas Razorbacks.

Coming out of Parkview Magnet High School in the Class of 2025, Elston is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 1290th-ranked player. He also checks in as the 96th-ranked player at his position and the 10th-ranked player in the state of Arkansas.

Elston is a talented athlete on the track and on the gridiron. As a junior, the Arkansas native ran a wind-aided 10.99 100-meter dash and a wind-legal 11.03 100-meter dash. Elston also ran the first leg of Parkview’s Arkansas 5A State Champion 4×200 relay and anchored the 5A silver 4×100 relay.

With his commitment, Elston became the Wildcats’ 14th addition to the Class of 2025, joining a group headlined by five-star TE Linkon Cure, three-star OL Brock Heath, and three-star OL Will Kemna.

Elston, Cure, Health, Kemna, and the rest of the Wildcats 2025 incoming freshmen will have the opportunity to watch their future team take the field for the first time in 2024 on Saturday, August 31st, against the UT Martin Skyhawks.
