The National Football League is a quarterback’s league now more than ever.

Signal-callers are getting generational wealth in their new contracts, and one could state that we have never had this many talented players in the same position at the same time.

Even so, there are levels and tiers to everything, and this time isn’t the exception to that rule.

If anything, the surplus in talent only makes it slightly more evident when a player stands out from the rest of the pack.

With that in mind, one of the most promising and exciting young quarterbacks in the game took the liberty of ranking himself and other colleagues among the best in the league.

Talking on the Million Dollars Worth of Game podcast, Houston Texans star C.J. Stroud chose the five best quarterbacks in the NFL from last season (Via Sarah Ellison).

At No. 5, he chose Jalen Hurts, and the Philadelphia Eagles star will have to back that up on the field by bouncing back in 2024.

Now that he’s back to full strength, he must prove that his run in 2022 wasn’t a fluke.

Then, he chose Dak Prescott, who’s in the final year of his contract with the Dallas Cowboys

Prescott has always fallen short when it counts, but he’ll get a massive payday soon.

Then, he chose himself, which is pretty self-explanatory.

For the final two spots, he chose the reigning MVP, Lamar Jackson, and then Patrick Mahomes, who are also 1A and 1B on most people’s lists.

Notably, he left out the likes of Joe Burrow, Aaron Rodgers, Josh Allen, and Justin Herbert.
