Class of 2026 and 2027 prospects shine at Crossroads Elite Invitational Camp

Herly Brutus, SF, 2026 – Brutus is a tough and athletic wing who first caught our attention this spring for his play with the Florida Rebels in the 16U division of Nike’s EYBL. Standing about 6-foot-5 with relatively long arms, Brutus has a motor that runs nonstop. Even in a camp setting where the intensity level sometimes hung in the light cardio range, he always brought it. He attacks the rim, can create some jumpers for himself and has defensive presence.

Jacksonville was the first program to offer Brutus and we wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up on some high major radars.

Will Davis, SF, 2027 – A long and lean lefty from Overland Park (Kans.) Blue Valley North, Davis didn’t have to travel far for camp. While he’s still a bit raw and not always the most aggressive, he’s got a lot to work with. He can run, he’s a springy finisher around the rim and he’s a tremendous mover in open space. He’s probably more of a natural four-man at this point, but his fluidity and athleticism suggest that he can play as a full-time wing over the next few years. In terms of pure upside, he was one of the top prospects we watched in camp.

Lattimore Ford, SF, 2026 – We actually first saw Ford earlier this spring playing for Beauchamp Elite’s 16U team on the Adidas 3SSB circuit. Ford is a well-put-together wing who was among the most physical perimeter players that we saw. He can elevate for pull-up jumpers, gets on the glass and has some passing savvy to his game. He’s also capable of being explosive athletically in tight spaces.

Ford has offers from San Diego State, Seattle and Washington where head coach Danny Sprinkle and his staff also offered the Snoqualmie (Wash.) Mt. Si product during their previous stops at Montana State and Utah State.
