In the Main Event No. 3 WBC Super Middleweight and NABF Super Middle champ Erik Bazinyan, 32-0-1 (23), #167 ½, of Yerevan, Armenia, Laval, Quebec, CAN, drew with ‘The Jamaican Juggernaut’ Shakel Phinn, 26-3-2 (17), #167 ¼, of Brossard, Quebec, CAN, over 10 rounds, for the vacant WBA Continental title.
In the first round Bazinyan controlled with an effective jab. In the second round, it went back and forth. In the third round, Bazinyan, switching back and forth from orthodox to southpaw, had his moments, but Phinn had an edge. In the fourth and fifth rounds, Phinn outworked Bazinyan.

In the sixth round, Bazinyan came back to take the round. In the seventh round, Phinn took over again. In the eighth round, Phinn continued taking it to Bazinyan.

In the ninth round Phinn drew blood from the nose of Bazinyan. He had Bazinyan out on his feet at the bell. In the tenth and final round the action continued with Phinn on top.

Referee was Martin Forest. Scores were 97-93 Phinn, 96-94 Bazinyan, 95-95. 97-93 Phinn, KH.

In the co-feature Lightweight Avery ‘The Future’ Martin Duval, 11-0-1 (7), #132 ¾, of Montreal, Quebec, CAN, stopped Ezequiel Palaversic, 8-3-1 (4), #130, of Bueno Aires, ARG, at 2:15 of the fourth round of a scheduled 8 rounds.

In the first three rounds, Duval had an edge mostly with overhand rights. In the fourth round, Duval landed half a dozen punches, with Palaversic returning one until Duval landed a right and down went Palaversic for an 8-count from Referee Albert Padulo, Jr. Duval jumped all over him, dropping him a second time. Upon rising, he showed little response, causing Referee Padulo to wave it off.

Lightweight southpaw Thomas ‘The Ghost’ Chabot, 10-0 (8), #131 ¼, of Thetford Mines, Quebec, CAN, knocked out Alfredo ‘Duro’ Espino, 6-2-1 (2), #133 ½, of Tzintzuntzan, MEX, at 1:43 of the fifth round of a scheduled 8 rounds.

At the first round halfway point, Chabot rocked Espino with a right hook on the chin in an all-action round. In the second round Chabot scored a knockdown with a body shot causing Referee Alain Velleneuve to rule an 8-count. In the fifth round a vicious body attack from Chabot dropped Espino to the canvas for the count.

Super Lightweight Jhon Orobio, 8-0 (8), #139 ¼, of COL, Montreal, Quebec, CAN, stopped Christian ‘El Tigre’ Palma, 33-15-2 (7), #139 ¼ of Lautaro, CH, at 2:46 of round two of a scheduled 6 rounds.

In the first round, it was all Orobio though warned several times for hitting behind the head of Palma. In the second round Orobio dropped Palma with a right to the top of the head for an 8-count from Referee Steve St-Germain. Two more knockdowns caused Referee Germain to call a halt.

Middleweight southpaw Moreno ‘The Soldier’ Fendero, 5-0 (4), #161 ¾, of Montreal, Quebec, CAN, impressed in stopping Nicolas Palacios, 13-11-2 (2), #160 ¾, of Cordoba, ARG, at 1:26 of the sixth and final round.

In the first rounds final seconds Fendero landed a left on the chin knocking Palacios off balance. In the second rounds final seconds Fendero landed a left on the chin knocking Palacios into the ropes.

Twenty seconds into the third round a left from Fendero knocked out Palacios mouthpiece out of the ring. After a minute a right on the chin of Palacios from Fendero caused a standing 8-count from Referee Steve St-Germain.

From the fourth through the sixth, Fendero dominated Palacios, driving him backwards. A minute into the sixth and final round a left from Fendero on the chin of Palacios dropped him for an 8-count from Referee St-Germain. A combination without a return from Fendero caused Referee St-Germain to call a halt.

Middleweight Alexandre Gaumont, 10-0 (7), #157 ¾, of Buckingham, Quebec, CAN, stopped Abdallah Luanja, 17-12-2 (12), #156 ½, Dar-Es-Salaam, TANZ, at 1:56 of the second round of a scheduled 6 rounds.

In the first round Gaumont used a good left uppercut to the body of Luanja. In the second round Gaumont having his way against defense minded Luanja caused Referee Albert Padulo, Jr. to call a halt possibly prematurely.
