Brock Purdy’s Football Camp in Ames is PACKED

While it’s no secret that Brock Purdy is a massive celebrity among fans of the Iowa State Cyclones, his football camp in Ames proved that point on Saturday.

In a recent Instagram story from Brock Purdy’s mother, Carrie Purdy, the former Cyclone signal-caller can be seen running through a tunnel of kids, eagerly anticipating the start of Purdy’s camp.

While Purdy became a household name for Big 12 fans during his career in Ames, his stock has exploded onto the national scene after becoming one of the best young quarterbacks in the NFL. Purdy led the 49ers to the NFC Championship Game in back-to-back seasons and took the team to their first Super Bowl appearance since 2020.

Purdy is coming off the best season of his career in 2023, posting numbers that kept him in the MVP race for the better part of the season. The Arizona native threw for 4,280 yards and a touchdown to interception ratio of 31-11.

After recovering from a torn UCL in his first season with the 49ers, Purdy has quickly proven to be one of the faces of the NFL. Whether in Ames, San Francisco, or anywhere else that features football fans, Brock Purdy is sure to have a large following.
