The MLB trade deadline is just over a month away, and one of the biggest names that could be on the move is Vladimir Guerrero Jr. When asked about possibly being traded to the New York Yankees despite saying he’d never sign with the Yankees “not even dead,” in 2022, he said “this is a business. I’m a player and if a team picks me, it’s because they need it, and I’ll be happy to help any team.” With the Blue Jays in last place in the American League East and the Yankees in need of a first baseman, Guerrero Jr. could find himself in pinstripes at the end of July.
