The Milwaukee Bucks went out with a whimper during the 2024 NBA playoffs, losing to the Indiana Pacers in six games.
Milwaukee got hit with injuries at the worst possible time as Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t play in the series due to a calf injury while Damian Lillard battled through an Achilles injury that forced him to miss Game 5.
While Lillard tried to gut it out in Game 6, he clearly wasn’t himself and now the Bucks need to reassess some things in the offseason.
Meanwhile, Patrick Beverley is also caught dealing with the consequences of his actions as he threw a basketball at fans in the stands and later disrespected well-renowned ESPN producer Malinda Adams.
Beverley told Adams she couldn’t interview him because she didn’t subscribe to his podcast and reports surfaced the next day that he would be banned from appearing on any ESPN programs.
However, ESPN later came out and denied the news that Beverley had ever been banned.
“There was an erroneous report that suggested Patrick Beverley was banned from appearing on ESPN. He isn’t banned and never was,” ESPN stated.

It was an embarrassing and shameful moment for Beverley to not only use his postgame media scrum to promote his podcast, but to openly disrespect Adams who is well-liked among media members.
Although Beverley later apologized for both incidents, it’s hard to imagine teams will be lining up to sign him in the offseason given his antics.
Beverley has bounced around teams the past two years and his days in the NBA could very well be over.
