It’s just about time for Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy Top 100 receiver Donovan Olugbode to announce his commitment. The 6-1, 200-pounder from the class of 2025 has narrowed his focus to five finalists and he’s ready to made his decision.
Olugbode, the No. 69 overall player in the country, has narrowed his decision to USC, Missouri, Florida, Washington, and Oregon.
His commitment will take place live on the 247Sports YouTube channel on 4 pm ET / 3 pm CT on Friday, July 5.
As a junior, Olugbode caught 31 passes for 561 yards and five scores. He helped IMG Academy go 10-0 against a national schedule.
Scouting Report via 247Sports Director of Scouting Andrew Ivins:Â Sure-handed wide receiver prospect with a college-ready build and plenty of polish to his game. Started prep career off in Illinois before transferring into IMG Academy, which tends to lean heavily on its ground attack. However, put plenty of promising moments on tape as a junior with his technical route running as he creates separation with his sharp cuts and can find soft spots in zone coverage. Competitive after the catch and will extend plays with both his short-area quickness and natural core power. Animated as a blocker and works to open up run lanes out on the perimeter. Should be viewed as one of the more advanced pass catchers in the 2025 cycle. Testing profile reveals a lack of true top-end speed, but has the skills to emerge as a reliable target at the Power Four level. Rare measurables for the position (35-inch arms, 10.5-inch hands) could draw the attention of NFL scouts one day.
The 6-1, 200-pounder is ranked as the No. 11 receiver in the country and No. 8 prospect in Florida from the 2025 class.
