Galloway garnered nearly 30 Division I offers and ultimately chose Purdue over the likes of Penn State, Kentucky, Syracuse and West Virginia. Kentucky and Michigan held Crystal Ball picks at one point, so this was a nice turn for the Boilermakers on Friday. Galloway is the highest-rated commit in Purdue’s class and the second-highest-rated cornerback to pledge to the Boilermakers in the modern recruiting era.

Abbreviated Scouting Report: “Brings excellent track speed to the football field. Speed shows up in his closing ability and also after he gets his hands on the ball both as a defensive back and a wide receiver or return man. Has some rawness to his game, but pure speed and playmaking ability are at a high level and upside because of that is high. That gives him the opportunity to be a starter, not just at cornerback, but as a return man, at a high major program.” — Scouting analyst Allen Trieu
