With the college basketball season still a few months away, the Kansas men’s basketball program released its non-conference schedule for the 2024-25 season.
The Jayhawks finished 2023-24 with an overall record of 23-11, finishing fifth in the Big 12 before falling to Gonzaga in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Several key players from last season’s team will be back in action for KU, including Hunter Dickinson, K.J. Adams, and Dajuan Harris Jr.

The non-conference schedule consists of eight home games, including:
- Washburn (Exhibition) on Oct. 29
- Howard on Nov. 4
- North Carolina on Nov. 8
- Oakland on Nov. 16
- UNC Wilmington on Nov. 19
- Furman on Nov. 30
- NC State on Dec. 14
- Brown on Dec. 22
Meanwhile, the Jayhawks have four neutral/away matchups:
- Michigan State on Nov. 12 (Neutral)
- Duke on Nov. 26 (Neutral)
- Creighton on Dec. 4 (Away)
- Missouri on Dec. 8 (Away)
Head coach Bill Self brought in several highly ranked players through the transfer portal, including AJ Storr (Wisconsin), Zeke Mayo (South Dakota State), and Rylan Griffen (Alabama).
