Utah Basketball Adds Baylor Guard Miro Little in Transfer Portal

NCAA Basketball: Texas Christian at Baylor

Craig Smith and the Utah Utes added a new name to their roster on Tuesday with the addition of former Baylor guard Miro Little.

Little, a four-star prospect from Kansas, started to career at Baylor after committing to join the team in the Class of 2023.

Little, a 6-foot-4, 185-pound freshman, saw limited minutes at Baylor last season with 7.1 MPG but did take the court in each of the Bears games (34). As a freshman in 2023-24, Little posted 1.7 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.7 assists per game while connecting on 42.9% of shots from the field.

Coming out of Sunrise Christian High School in the Class of 2023, Little was listed as a four-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 41st-ranked player. He also checked in as the ninth-ranked player in his class and the second-ranked player in the state of Kansas.

With his commitment, Little became the Utes’ fourth addition through the transfer portal this offseason, alongside Wake Forrest’s Zach Keller, Boston College’s Mason Madsen, and Rice’s Keanu Dawes. An impressive player in his class, Little chose the Bears over Villanova and Indiana.

While Utah has had a tough offseason leading into its first year of Big 12 Basketball, Miro Little’s addition could quickly prove to be an underrated addition.
