Is Alabama on shaky ground heading into the 2024 college football season?
On Thursday, Paul Finebaum pinpointed an “end of the world” scenario for Alabama ahead of the 2024 season. When discussing SEC teams’ depth at quarterback, Finebaum argued that it’s Jalen Milroe or bust for the Tide.
He compared their situation to SEC newcomer Texas, which has starter Quinn Ewers and backup Arch Manning.
“Texas has the most famous backup in the sport,” Finebaum said on ESPN’s “First Take.” (h/t On3.com)
“So if something goes haywire with Quinn Ewers, Texas has a plan. It won’t be the end of the world. It will be at Alabama,” he continued.
