ESPN Bet to air alternate broadcast of the PGA Championship

Bettors just found a new way to watch the PGA Championship next week.

ESPN’s coverage of the year’s second major will include an alternate betting telecast featuring ESPN Bet, the company announced Wednesday. The betting telecast will air for two hours each day of the tournament, including on-site commentary from Michael Collins and ‘Stanford’ Steve Coughlin, and studio analysis from Tyler Fulgham, Joe Fortenbaugh and Anita Marks.

Though we hardly need anyone to tell us how good tournament favorite and reigning Masters champion Scottie Scheffler is.

The betting-focused alt cast will air on ESPN2 from 11 a.m. ET to 1 p.m. for the first and second rounds, and it’ll be on ESPN+ at the same times for the third and fourth rounds.

The news comes a day after it was announced the PGA and PENN Entertainment reached a deal to make ESPN Bet the Official Sports Betting Sponsor of the PGA Championship through 2026.
