Anthony Edwards is one of the NBA’s emerging superstars, and he has a unique combination of athleticism, explosiveness, and skill that is very hard to come by.
He is a key member of the United States men’s Olympic basketball team that is hoping to leave Paris with a gold medal within the next couple of weeks, and he has teamed up with a number of other NBA stars and superstars there.
During practice, a photo of him dunking on Team USA teammate Kevin Durant was taken, and it is going viral on social media, per Bleacher Report.

Durant is nearly seven feet tall with a 7-foot-5 wingspan, and therefore it is mighty impressive that the 6-foot-5 Edwards was able to throw one down on him.
The Minnesota Timberwolves guard has steadily raised his production over the last few years, and to a certain extent, this spring’s playoffs were his coming-out party.
He played outstanding ball in the second round of the postseason, when the Timberwolves dumped the then-defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets, and he did so on both ends of the floor.
He set the tone with a 43-point performance in Game 1, and although he shot 6-of-24 in Game 7, his defense was a major reason why Minnesota was able to overcome a 15-point halftime deficit on the road.
The competition could be very stiff in Paris, and thus, Team USA may need Edwards to play at or near the top of his potential if it is to return home with the gold.
