Of the many iconic locations in Paris and France to host Olympic sports, Grand Palais is a fantastic choice for a site.

The exhibition hall on the Champs-Elysees was built over 100 years ago in 1900, and now it’s playing host to fencing, which feels kind of perfect. After all, fencing is said to have originated in France, which makes the competition in a historic site all the more perfect.
