ROCK HILL SC — Last week’s NCAA Academy featured both the Individual Pathway (essentially a camp for individual prospects who were selected) as well as the team pathway, a team tournament run by USA Basketball’s Youth Division for club teams in the 9th and 10th grade.
24 teams, selected from across every major sneaker brand, competed for the 10th grade championship. Indiana Elite won the Gold as the Arizona Unity had to forfeit the final, while the Utah Prospects came away with the Silver. In the 9th grade division, Chicago Meanstreets won the Gold and Indiana Elite took silver.
My focus during the event was on the 10th grade division. After three days of action, these were the 10 players who stood out the most.
