Heading into these 2024 Olympics in Paris, there were a lot of names fans were familiar with. Simone Biles. LeBron James. Trinity Rodman. Katie Ledecky. But other athletes have emerged as favorites since the games got underway, led by U.S. gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik.

Nedoroscik burst onto the scene during the gymnastics team final as the Americans needed the pommel horse specialist to secure their spot on the podium. The Penn State gymnast was in Paris solely as a specialist on the apparatus, and he more than delivered to secure the bronze for his squad.
On Saturday, Nedoroscik returned to the pommel horse to compete for an individual medal. His score put him in third with three competitors to go, and he was able to hold on for his second bronze medal.
