Home is where the heart is; at least, that appears to be true for Jayvan Boggs, a four-star wide receiver from Cocoa, Florida.
Formerly committed to Ohio State, we saw Boggs flip his commitment to the Missouri Tigers on the Fourth of July, but on Tuesday, he made another change to his plans. This time, though, he’s staying much, much closer to home.
That’s because Boggs has now flipped his commitment to play for the UCF Knights, which puts him in Orlando — less than an hour from his hometown.
Boggs announced his decision to flip via On3’s Hayes Fawcett, who, thanks to his edit skills, has become one of the biggest names in the recruiting business.
“Long overdue, I’m staying home!!” Boggs told Fawcett.
According to On3, Boggs ranks as the No. 262 recruit in the 2025 class, and the No. 37 wide receiver in the country. Rivals.com is the highest on Boggs as a prospect, rating him as the No. 67 overall player and No. 13 WR in the class.
With Boggs’ commitment, UCF sits with the No. 24 class in the country for 2025 (per On3), which also gives them the best class in the Big 12, slightly edging out TCU at No. 25.
