Nebraska football flips Top247 WR Isaiah Mozee from Oregon

Nebraska football completed a long-awaited flip, picking up a commitment from 2025 Lee’s Summit North wide receiver Isaiah MozeeĀ on Friday afternoon. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Mozee had been committed to Oregon in April, but the Huskers had seen momentum grow with Mozee through the June visit period and into July.

Mozee made a mid-June official visit to Nebraska, then returned to Lincoln on July 27 for an unofficial visit with a bigger factor working in Nebraska’s favor ā€” his father Jamar Mozee joined the Husker program this summer as a senior analyst working with offensive skill position players.

Though he committed to Oregon in April, Mozee continued to make visits, taking official trips to Oregon, Missouri, Kansas and Nebraska.

The relationship between Nebraska and Mozee goes back much further, when Mozee would make trips to Lincoln along with a number of Power Four recruits from Lee’s Summit North, including former five-star Williams Nwaneri.

Mozee gives Nebraska football’s 2025 recruiting class a big-time playmaker to insert into the Husker offense.

Last season, Mozee caught 74 passes for 1,033 yards and 12 touchdowns, and added nine carries for 158 yards and two touchdowns. That followed a sophomore campaign in 2022 when Mozee recorded 71 catches for 898 yards and 12 touchdowns on 12.6 yards per reception.

The flip from Oregon also represents another big win for Nebraska in Kansas City and the state of Missouri more broadly. Mozee joins St. Louis running back Jamarion Parker in Nebraska’s 2025 recruiting class, as Nebraska has invested a large amount of resources in recruiting the state.

Mozee is the third wide receiver commitment in Nebraska’s 2025 class, joining Maize (Kan.) wideout Bryson Hayes and Lincoln Southwest’s Jackson Carpenter.

Mozee is a 247Sports four-star prospect, holding an overall rating of 90, making him the No. 227 overall prospect and No. 27 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class.
