2025 Three-Star S Nathan Tilmon Commits to Utah

On Saturday, Kyle Whittingham and the Utah Utes added a new name to the Class of 2025 with the addition of three-star safety Nathan Tilmon.

Tilmon, a 6-foot safety from Texas, chose the Utes over offers from 14 different programs, including Texas, TCU, Kansas State, Baylor, Houston, Arizona State, Texas Tech, and more.

Coming out of Mansfield Timberview High School in the Class of 2025, Tilmon is listed as a three-star prospect by the 247Sports index and the nation’s 934th-ranked player. He also checks in as the 80th-ranked safety in his class and the 148th-ranked player in the state of Texas.

“Man, after going through this process for so long, it just feels like a weight lifted off my shoulders,” Tilmon told KSL Sports’ Steve Bartle. “It feels great, I’m so glad to be a Ute!”

“Salt Lake City is like a dream, I’m not gonna’ lie,” Tilmon continued. “Being the Texas boy that I am and waking up -when I was on my OV, they had us in the Grand America, and we woke up just seeing the mountains with the snow, like you don’t see that in Texas.”

With his commitment, Tilmon became the Utes’ 18th addition to the Class of 2025, joining four-star OT Aaron Dunn, four-star LB Christian Thatcher, and a cast of 15 other three-star prospects.
