Ravens TE Charlie Kolar Signs Baby at Training Camp

NFL Training Camps are continuing across the country, and one former Big 12 star had himself a great moment after practice on Monday.

Former Iowa State and current Baltimore Ravens tight end Charlie Kolar found himself signing autographs when he was handed a baby in a Ravens jersey and proceeded to sign the baby’s onesie with a sharpie and then console the baby when he suffered a classic case of stranger danger.

Kolar’s career at Iowa State included graduating with a 3.99 cumulative GPA in mechanical engineering. He was the first Iowa State player to be named both an All-American and Academic All-American.

Kolar is heading into his third season in Baltimore. After playing in only two games his rookie season of 2022, he saw action in 15 games last season, while making seven catches for 81 yards and one touchdown.

The Ravens came up short in the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs, who eventually went on to win their second-straight Super Bowl.

The two teams meet to open up the 2024 NFL season in Kansas City on Thursday, September 5th.
