Kevin Durant sat down for a conversation with Jalen Brown at last weekend’s Fanatics Fest and gave his opinion about the league, his career, and his Phoenix Suns.
At one point in the conversation, a fan gave their own opinion.
According to a video shared by NBA News 24 on X, when Jalen Rose asked what people could expect from Durant and the Suns this year, someone in the crowd called out, “Nothing!”
This was met by laughter from people in the audience and even Durant and the hosts on stage.
However, for Suns fans it’s no laughing matter.

This will be Durant’s third season with the Suns and many people are hoping for an awful lot from the Western Conference team.
He posted 27.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 5 assists during the 2023-24 season and just had a wonderful run at the Paris Olympics.
Durant is still in his prime, even at 35 years old.
With that being said, the Suns are seen as a disappointment by many because they haven’t capitalized on all their potential.
Even with the big three of Durant, Devin Booker, and Bradley Beal, the Suns were only able to claim the sixth seed in the West last season.
That didn’t make fans very happy but things got even worse when the playoffs started.
They were swept out of the postseason by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the opening round, a disappointing end to a disappointing season.
The Suns have had two seasons to deliver success with Durant and they have come up short, so no one can be blamed for not expecting a lot in 2024-25.
Durant may have chuckled at this outburst but he’s hoping to get the last laugh in the new season.
