LUCENA CITY – Two male workers died in an accident at a construction site in San Juan, Batangas on Saturday, May 11.
Batangas police in a report on Sunday, May 12, said the victims, “Mark” and “Anthony,” were working on a metal support post at a construction site in Barangay (village) Laiya around 8:50 a.m.
Suddenly, their fellow workers spotted the victims covered by the eroded silky sands.
Mark was retrieved around 9:34 a.m. while “Anthony’s” body was dug at about 11:06 a.m.
The victims reportedly died while being taken to Juan District Hospital in the locality.
The police are conducting an investigation into the cause of the deadly accident.
