Blackpool to beat Burton Albion @ 1/2

Birmingham City to beat Peterborough United @ 11/20

Crewe Alexandra to beat Newport County @ 11/10

Accumulator odds @ 8.43/1

Watford vs Sunderland (15:00)

Watford almost pulled off a major cup upset as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at Manchester City in midweek and that performance could put them in a good place to trouble Championship highflyers Sunderland.

The Hornets have failed to win any of their last four matches in all competitions but they have now scored in three consecutive games, as well as being unbeaten at Vicarage Road this season.

The Black Cats are second in the table, having won five of their six league matches. Both of their last two away games have had goals at both ends and another free-scoring game looks a real possibility.

Blackpool vs Burton Albion (15:00)

Blackpool have been in impressive form of late and should be able to make light work of a Burton Albion side without a win in League One this season.

The Tangerines have won four of their last five matches in all competitions and picked up an impressive 2-0 victory at Huddersfield Town in their midweek league fixture, moving them up to ninth in the table.

The Brewers find themselves in the relegation zone and have drawn all three of their away matches this season. However, they have not won on any of their last four visits to Bloomfield Road, losing three, and a first league away defeat could be in store.

Birmingham City vs Peterborough United (15:00)

The Blues are second in League One heading into Saturday and Chris Davies’s side will be expected to make home advantage count when they host Peterborough.

Birmingham are unbeaten at St Andrew’s in League One this season and, while Posh have won two of their three away league games, they have never beaten the Blues on their travels. This unfortunate run could be set to continue.

Newport County vs Crewe Alexandra (15:00)

Newport rank in the top half for goals scored in League Two this season but their disappointing defensive performances have seen them fall down the table and they could come up short when Crewe visit on Saturday.

The Ironsides have lost four of their last five matches in all competitions and have also tasted defeat in two of their last three games at Rodney Parade – including a 4-1 thumping by Port Vale in their last league fixture here.

Crewe have won each of their last three matches to nil and boast one of the stronger defensive records in the division. Their good form should keep the hosts at bay and Newport’s leaky backline (15 goals conceded) could lead to another defeat for the Welsh club.
