Watch: Dodgers pitcher rages in dugout after defensive letdown

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler let his frustrations out in the dugout early during his team’s NLDS Game 3 contest against the San Diego Padres at Petco Park in San Diego, Calif.

Buehler ended his stint Tuesday with a miserable final line: seven hits, six earned runs and a walk across 5.0 innings pitched. All of the runs came in the bottom of the second inning.

However, the numbers don’t paint the complete story. Buehler did give up a leadoff single to Manny Machado. But the next two batters got on base partly due to poor fielding.

First, Jackson Merrill reached base on a fielder’s choice after Freddie Freeman’s throw to second ended up in left field. Machado moved to third via the error.
