A pair of struggling teams face off tonight at Bridgestone Arena. The Preds are still looking for their first win of the season, while the Oilers also went down 0-3 on the season before winning their fourth, in overtime, on Tuesday.
The Preds tied Tuesday’s game against Seattle up twice before falling apart without response in the third period. We’ll look for a better response from them tonight, and hopefully an actual lead. Meanwhile in Edmonton, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl continue to impress, along with other familiar names like Jeff Skinner and former Pred Mattias Ekholm.
Neither team has gotten particularly good goaltending so far, which gives tonight’s game the potential to feature some spectacular scoring.
