Lee Corso has been on fire with his headgear picks this season ESPN’s College GameDay.
Last week the show visited Bloomington, Indiana, giving the former Hoosiers coach an absolute layup of a pick — especially as IU went on to blow out Washington, 31-17.
Week 10 in Happy Valley, however, provided a much more significant challenge for Corso.
As No. 4 Ohio State visited No. 3 Penn State in a matchup both coaches somehow always lose, Corso had to pick which historically untrustworthy team was capable of pulling off the win. Fortunately, he wasn’t the first coach on the GameDay set to don a mascot costume Saturday after Nick Saban beat him to it.
So who did Corso choose? Ohio State, of course. Corso’s first love.
“When in doubt, go with your heart.”
