Xbet and the Best Stanley Cup Odds to Win! | The Winnipeg Jets continue their historic start to the 2024-25 NHL season, and their hot streak has moved from some of the bottom-feeders to the contenders.
On Tuesday night, they headed into Madison Square Garden and doubled up the New York Rangers, 6-3.
That made them the first team ever to win 15 of its first 16 games to start a campaign. Center Mark Scheifele had a pair of goals as the Jets moved to 7-0-0 away from home.
They are just the fourth team since 1967-68 to lead the league in goals scored and goals allowed through 15 games.
They’ve scored at least five goals in 8 of 16 games. Furthermore, they have 73 total goals, the third most by any team through 16 games in 30 years.
They have 36 goals away from home, which is a record for the nine teams that started with seven wins in seven road games.
The Jets are still a relative value pick when it comes to sports betting odds on winning the Stanley Cup, at least for now. Check out the updated odds as well as our thoughts on some of the other contenders.

Vancouver Canucks
After 13 games, the Canucks had the 13th most points in the NHL with a 7-3-3 record despite playing fewer games than every other team. This is true despite the fact that center Elias Pettersson isn’t producing at his usual rate yet. Once he starts clicking, the Canucks will get even more dangerous.
Â
Vegas Golden Knights
The Golden Knights have built a reputation for using the regular season as a sort of warmup for the playoffs. They started out with a 9-4-2 record, which is far from mediocre, but they still look like they’re treading water and waiting to up their game. The exception is Shea Theodore, who already looks like he’s playing in a contract year. Goaltending is the only real question mark, but when Vegas figures that out, they’ll be a Cup contender. They’re not a bad pick given their value right now.
Â
Washington Capitals
How about the Capitals? Just 14 games into the season, their GM took their 10-4-0 record as a sign it was time to buy, and he brought center Lars Eller over from the Pittsburgh Penguins. Eller already has his name on the Stanley Cup, and adding championship experience is a no-brainer. Dylan Strome and Alex Ovechkin are scoring in bunches, and if that duo can keep things going, the offense will keep rocking. The team also brought in netminder Logan Thompson to improve the back end.
Â
Minnesota Wild
The Wild continue to perform at a red-hot level. Kirill Kaprizov stays either at or near the top of the scoring leaderboard. They have not one but two top-notch goalies in Marc-Andre Fleury and Filip Gustavsson, and the future in net looks to be Jesper Wallstedt. Can the Wild keep this pace up, though? That’s always been the question with this team.
Â
Carolina Hurricanes
The Hurricanes already have a +23 goal differential – the best in the NHL for any team not located in Winnipeg. They have gone 9-1-0 over their last ten games and have rocketed up to second place in the Metropolitan Division. It’s definitely worth asking if they can keep this going, but this is a team that has been a contender for several years now – to the ongoing torment of Hartford hockey fans.
