Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley still sounds just a little bitter about the New York Giants not retaining him as a free agent last spring.
The Giants’ folly was the Eagles’ gain as Barkley had an incredible season in Philadelphia and helped New York’s NFC East foe reach Super Bowl 59.
New York not keeping Barkley will haunt that franchise for years to come, particularly because of what the running back gave and should continue to give the Eagles’ offense.
During Monday’s Super Bowl Opening Night, Cleveland Browns quarterback Jameis Winston asked Barkley about where he should sign as a free agent while on reporting duties for Fox Sports.
Barkley’s delightfully salty advice? Sign with the Giants.
“I think New York needs a quarterback right now,” Barkley quipped to Winston about where he should go next before clarifying he meant the Giants. Burn!

We’re sure the Giants are thrilled that this hysterically petty reply will probably go viral.
