The cupboard in Seattle was about as bare as it gets when Jedd Fisch arrived from Arizona. Almost the entire two-deep from last season’s playoff team either departed for the NFL Draft, followed Kalen DeBoer to Alabama or sought other options through the transfer portal, leaving Fisch with a glaring need to find immediate help. One of his biggest wins was keeping transfer quarterback Will Rogers on board, but that was far from his only offseason victory. Bringing prized recruit Jordan Washington with him from Arizona gives the Huskies one of the fastest true freshmen in the nation, and numerous other former Wildcats should make a splash in Year 1 on Montlake.
