We’re witnessing the dawn of a new era in Chicago Bears football.

There’s finally a beacon of hope, and Caleb Williams might be the savior they’ve been craving for decades now.

Of course, it’s still too early to tell how his career will pan out, and he hasn’t even taken the field with a full roster yet.

Nonetheless, judging by his talent, his supporting cast, and his demeanor, he should be in for a successful rookie season.

In fact, NFL analyst Craig Carton believes that he’s going to be ‘a rockstar.’

Talking on The Carton Show, he addressed Williams’ latest comments about learning to follow before becoming a leader, and he stated that as much as he’s not going to take over that locker room right away, he’s going to be way more assertive as soon as he takes the field.

“Caleb Williams is going to be a rockstar,” Carton said.

Carton claimed that it was more likely that Williams had a similar rookie campaign to CJ Stroud’s and not so likely that he would disappoint like Bryce Young.

Also, while he doesn’t know whether the Bears will certainly be a playoff team and even win a playoff game, he doesn’t think that’s off the table, either.

Williams is one of the most special quarterback prospects we’ve seen in quite a while, and the Bears made sure to give him the supporting cast he needed.

Anything can happen at this point, but there’s no reason to believe he’s not going to be at least half as good as advertised, and that would still be very, very good.
