The Kansas City Chiefs weren’t particularly the winningest franchise in the National Football League.
HC Andy Reid has been instrumental in turning them around, up to the point where they’ve become the undisputed powerhouse in the AFC.
Of course, one could talk for hours about his offensive expertise and savviness or how good of a coach he is.
We could also talk about the fact that he was lucky enough to find and develop the best quarterback in the game, and both statements would be true.
Nonetheless, Reid’s biggest impact in Missouri has been the way he’s been able to build and develop a winning culture.
Recently, he sat down with Chase Daniel and Dianna Russini to talk about his philosophy and approach to coaching, stating how important it is to get the players to buy in and actually teach other players and how that can make a difference in the pursuit of a championship.
“You can compete and win if the coach is teaching the player. You get the players teaching the players, now you can really go and compete for championships,” Andy Reid

Coach Reid got the short end of the stick after failing to win at the highest level with the Philadelphia Eagles, but he and the Chiefs were a match made in heaven.
It hasn’t always been easy or pretty, but he’s built this project from the ground up to the point where he’s now considered to be the best coach in the league and one of the best in NFL history.
The Chiefs are looking to win the first-ever Super Bowl three-peat, and while it won’t be easy, Coach Reid will make it seem that way.
