No joke here; the last couple of weeks in girls’ scholastic lacrosse has brought up one question: Where is the real power center in the United States? Is it Connecticut? Long Island? Baltimore-area private schools?
Or perhaps there is now a shift to suburban Philadelphia, where Newtown Square Episcopal Academy (Pa.) has been compiling an awesome resume thus far, including last Thursday’s 12-4 win over Owings Mills McDonogh (Md.)?
We’ll know more in a few weeks, but this is going to be an interesting next few weeks setting up for the Gains for Brains Showcase at the end of the month.
