Despite the 2024 season still being more than two months away, on Saturday, Circa Sports released some opening lines for some of the game-of-the-year contenders in college football.
Eight of the matchups included feature Big 12 teams, including Colorado, Iowa State, Arizona, Kansas State, UCF, Kansas, and Texas Tech.

Kansas State -9 vs. Arizona
Florida -6 vs. UCF
Kansas State -6 vs. Colorado
Kansas State -8 vs. Kansas
Texas Tech -6 vs. Colorado
Kansas -5 vs. Colorado
The matchups listed above are crucial and could play a large part in deciding which teams earn a trip to Arlington. In the case of Iowa State, Colorado, Kansas State, and Arizona, one game from each team’s non-conference schedule was listed.
Despite the game between Kansas State and Arizona featuring two teams from the Big 12 Conference, the league elected to leave the matchup as a non-conference game since it was scheduled prior to the Four Corner schools joining the Big 12.
While the offseason is still in full swing, the start of the 2024 season continues to grow closer and is just 11 weeks away. Teams from the league will kick off their first non-conference matchup during the last week of August.
