Big 12 Partners with Brewing Company to Create Softball Tournament Beer

As many followers of Heartland College Sports have come to know, cold beer and sports are some of life’s greatest pleasures.

The Big 12 Conference confirmed that fact on Tuesday, announcing a collaboration with Iron Monk Brewing Company in Stillwater to create league-branded beer for the upcoming Big 12 Softball Tournament.

Iron Horse Brewing Company was founded in 2014 which brought the first craft brewery to Stillwater, Oklahoma, according to the company’s website. The collaboration with the league is not the first sporting-themed beer, as the group continues to can 1890 original, the official craft beer of Oklahoma State University.

Big 12 softball fans will have an opportunity to crack open an ice-cold ALL-IN Ale from May 8th to May 11th during the 2024 Big 12 Softball Tournament. The event takes place at Oklahoma City’s OGE Field at Devon Park, the home of the Women’s College World Series.

While the tournament will feature a standard single-elimination format, fans of the league will hope for some long innings in order to maximize their time with one of the coolest Big 12 collaboration beers.
