The Big 12 Conference has four teams in this year’s NCAA Softball Super Regionals. Oklahoma, Texas, Oklahoma State and Baylor all reached the second weekend of postseason play with wins on Sunday.
And with those wins, the Big 12 Conference posted the highest winning percentage (.813) of any conference in the country during Regional play.

The four Big 12 teams are the most to advance to the second weekend of the NCAA Softball Championship since 2011. Also, the Big 12 had 80% of the league’s five selections move on to the second weekend, which is the best of any conference with multiple bids.
No. 1 Texas went 3-0 in the Austin Regional to reach the Super Regionals for a fifth-straight season. UT outscored its opponents 26-2 during the weekend, which included a no-hitter by Mac Morgan against Siena on Friday.
No. 2 seed Oklahoma won all three of its games in the Norman Regional and advance to the Super Regionals for the 14th-straight time. No. 5 Oklahoma State allowed just three runs combined against Northern Colorado, Kentucky and Michigan to clinch a fifth consecutive Super Regional appearance. And last, but not least, Baylor advanced to Super Regionals for the first time since 2017. Baylor lost on Sunday afternoon to Louisiana 13-0 and then won the winner-take-all game 4-3.
As for what’s next, No. 1 Texas will welcome No. 16 Texas A&M in Austin. No. 2 Oklahoma welcomes No. 15 Florida State to Norman. In Stillwater, No. 5 Oklahoma State hosts unranked Arizona. And Baylor will head to Gainesville for a matchup with No. 4 Florida.
