The NFC East is officially back.

For the first time since 1986, there will be an all-NFC East conference championship game. Back then, it was the Washington Redskins playing the New York Giants. In 2025, it’ll be the Washington Commanders against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The more likely team to be in this spot when the season started, the Eagles opened as 5.5-point home favorites over the Commanders.

These teams split their two regular season meetings, though Washington only came back to win the second after Jalen Hurts left the game with a concussion in the first quarter. The Eagles won the first meeting 26-18 in November.
