As we’ve done pretty much on an annual basis, we’ve completed a Trivial Pursuit Page-A-Day calendar.
And we’ve kept score.
The questions, as in the last couple of years, have come from the Trivial Pursuit 2000s portfolio. We felt fortunate to answer questions correctly about 63 percent of the time — which is pretty good here, but nowhere near the rate of good Jeopardy champions, which is somewhere north of 95 percent.
The unfortunate thing is, this is likely the end of an era for me. The company that makes these calendars, Andrews McMeel, are not making a Trivial Pursuit 2025 calendar. Perhaps it’s because people don’t use desk or wall calendars with the same frequency as they did before; your calendar is either in your email client or on your phone, for the most part.
Still, it is pretty cool to get a question per day on general knowledge to test yourself.
