With the Los Angeles Dodgers headed back to the World Series, a quadruple witching of sorts is coming for the city.
The Dodgers officially clinched the NL pennant with a 10-5 victory over the New York Mets in Game 6 of their NLCS series on Sunday. As a result, the Dodgers will be hosting Game 1 of the World Series against the New York Yankees on Friday, Oct. 25.
Eric Sondheimer of the Los Angeles Times shared just how wild that Friday will be in terms of L.A. sporting events. In addition to the opening game of the World Series, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Phoenix Suns at Crypto.com Arena that same night and USC football is hosting Rutgers at The Coliseum. It gets even more nuts too as both SoFi Stadium and Santa Ana Stadium will be hosting major high school football games that night as well, and Intuit Dome will even have a concert (guitarist David Gilmour of Pink Floyd fame).
