“I’m really looking forward to coming back,” Djokovic said on returning to the small, picturesque city in the Southern California desert. “It has been five years, way too long to not be part of the Tennis Paradise tournament, one of the best tournaments in the world without a doubt.”
Novak has been victorious in Indian Wells on five occasions (2008, 2011, 2014, 2015, 2016).
Reigning BNP Paribas Open champion is Carlos Alcaraz.
