FA Cup action returns to our screens this weekend, as this great competition reaches its fourth-round stage. There are some mouth-watering ties to enjoy.
There are ten matches on Saturday, with two starting at 12.15pm, six having the traditional 3pm kick-off slot, then further fixtures starting at 5.45pm and 8pm.
Liverpool, Aston Villa and Tottenham are among those teams playing on Sunday, but there are nine Premier League teams on duty on Saturday.
We have put together an accumulator for the Saturday matches which pays more than 10/1 in the football betting.
Saturday FA Cup accumulator selections
Manchester City to beat Leyton Orient @ 1/11
Southampton to beat Burnley @ 3/4
Fulham to beat Wigan @ 1/4
Preston to beat Wycombe @ 6/5
Chelsea to beat Brighton @ 6/5
Acca pays @ 10/1
Leyton Orient v Manchester City (12:15)
Arsenal were too hot to handle for Manchester City at the Emirates last Sunday, but the scoreline flattered the Gunners and City should be trusted to get back on track in the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
Leyton Orient are not well equipped to handle the attacking menace of the Premier League champions and this should be a routine success for Pep Guardiola’s side.
Southampton v Burnley (15:00)
Southampton’s players will greatly appreciate a break from their Premier League struggles and a home Cup date with Burnley seems an ideal tonic for the Saints. It is a chance to remind themselves and their fans of how they earned Premier League status in the first place.
Southampton crushed Swansea 3-0 in the FA Cup last month and the Saints beat Ipswich in their last league outing, so there is an optimism at St Mary’s Stadium that the south-coast side could have a decent Cup run.Â
Burnley have failed to score in three of their last five games and their focus is on securing promotion from the Championship.
Wigan v Fulham (15:00)
Fulham are one of the most underrated sides in the Premier League and the Cottagers can be expected to comfortably progress from their FA Cup trip to Wigan.
Fulham stunned Newcastle at St James’ Park last Saturday and head north again bursting with confidence. Wigan, languishing in the lower reaches of League One, should be easily outclassed by the raiders from the capital.
Preston v Wycombe (15:00)
Deepdale Stadium has become a fortress for Preston North End in recent weeks and the Lilywhites should see off League One opponents Wycombe on Saturday with the minimum of fuss.
Preston have beaten Charlton and Middlesbrough in their last two home fixtures, and North End have gone three months without suffering a defeat at Deepdale.
Brighton v Chelsea (20:00)
The match of the day takes place at the Amex Stadium and Chelsea can emerge triumphant. Their hosts Brighton were humbled by a 7-0 hammering at Nottingham Forest last time out – and the Seagulls lost their last home game to Everton.
Chelsea, back to winning ways against West Ham last time out, will be licking their lips about this trip as the Blues bid to win the FA Cup for a ninth time.
