On Sunday, five teams from the Big 12 Conference were selected to participate in the 2024 NCAA Softball Tournament.
Texas, Oklahoma, Baylor, UCF, and Oklahoma State were all selected for the tournament field, with Texas, Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State earning national seeds and hosting privileges.

Texas, No. 1 seed, Austin Regional, May 17-19.
Featured teams include Texas, Northwestern, Saint Francis, and Siena.
Oklahoma, No. 2 seed, Norman Regional, May 17-19.
Featured teams include Oklahoma, Oregon, Boston University, and Cleveland State.
Oklahoma State, No. 5 seed, Stillwater Regional, May 17-19.
Featured teams include Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Michigan, and Northern Colorado.
Baylor, Lafayette Regional, May 17-19.
Featured teams include Louisiana, Baylor, Ole Miss, and Princeton.
UCF, Tallahassee Regional, May 17-19.
Featured teams include Florida State, Auburn, UCF, and Chattanooga.
The UCF Knights earned the final spot in the tournament field as the 64th team selected. Narrowly missing out on tournament play were BYU and Texas Tech, with the Cougars as the first team out, the 65th-ranked team, and the Red Raiders at 67.
The NCAA Softball Championship consists of 64 teams fighting to punch their ticket to the Women’s College World Series. The tournament field features 32 automatic qualifiers and 32 teams selected at large by the Division I Softball Committee.
The Regional Round of the 2024 NCAA Softball Tournament takes place from May 17-19.
