Earlier this year, former Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim co-founded a company called Brand Boss that focuses on helping young football players develop their skills and capitalize on their “NIL journey.”
On Wednesday, Keim and his company helped eighth grade quarterback Linc Frazier secure a football scholarship offer from Arizona State, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Frazier, the son of former Philadelphia Eagles third-round pick Derrick Frazier, is now the youngest player to ever receive a scholarship offer from ASU.
But Sun Devil head coach Kenny Dillingham can’t count on a commitment from the 6-foot-3, 180-pound dual-threat quarterback just yet as Frazier currently plays under-14 ball in Chandler, Arizona, as part of the class of 2029.
Frazier posted on X in July about one of his meetings with Keim, who personally advised him, saying he “learned a lot in just 2 hours.”
Frazier also made an unofficial visit to Texas A&M in April, his father’s alma mater, and appears to be getting a crucial head start in a new and ever-evolving college football recruiting atmosphere thanks to Keim’s new company.
Brand Boss says on its website that its vision is to “work with each and every athlete individually to develop their personal brand, market it, sustain it, and at times refine it to remain relevant in the ever-changing landscape of athletics of all types.”
Keim was Arizona’s general manager from 2013 to 2023 when he decided to step down due to health reasons.
