After foregoing the NBA Draft, former Kansas State forward Arthur Kaluma entered the transfer portal and plans to visit SMU, per Jon Rothstein.
This past season with the Wildcats, the 6-foot-7 forward averaged 14.4 points, seven rebounds, and two assists, while knocking down 42.7% of his shots from the floor.
He started 32 games for K-State in 2023-24, after playing his first two seasons with Creighton.

Kaluma is one of the best players remaining in the transfer portal, and got invited to the G-League Elite Camp, according to ESPN.
Kansas State finished last season 19-15, placing ninth in the Big 12 as the Wildcats’ season came to an end in the first round of the NIT in a loss to Iowa.
Guard Tylor Perry led the squad in scoring (15.3 PPG) and assists (4.4 APG), while Kaluma averaged a team-high seven rebounds per game.
SMU finished fifth in the American Conference with a 20-13 record with guard Zhuric Phelps leading the way with 14.8 points per contest.
Even though head coach Jerome Tang lost several key players this offseason, he revamped his roster with several transfer additions including Coleman Hawkins (Illinois), Dug McDaniel (Michigan), Achor Achor (Samford), and Ugonna Onyenso (Kentucky).
