Three Big Ten teams have emerged as possibilities for a coveted in-conference transfer.
Former Michigan State standout safety Jaden Mangham is set to visit Ohio State this weekend, Nebraska beginning next Monday and then Michigan next weekend, sources tell 247Sports.
Mangham, who entered the transfer portal last week, is viewed around the college football personnel space as one of the top uncommitted players in the transfer portal. The Class of 2022 four-star recruit posted 52 tackles and four interceptions for Michigan State last season. 247Sports ranked the 6-foot-2, 185-pound Michigan native ranked as the 18th-best athlete recruit in that 2022 recruiting class. He recorded 20 tackles as a freshman at Michigan State in 2022.
Mangham’s brother Jaren, a running back and former Michigan State teammate who also left the Spartans last week, committed to a different Big Ten school (Minnesota) on Tuesday.
