Oregon has received a commitment from Frankfort (Ill.) Lincoln-Way East quarterback Jonas Williams, a four-star in the 2026 class. The commitment comes after he attended their Saturday Night Live event at the end of July. He gives the Ducks a top ten quarterback prospect in a class that now has three members, all Top 150 national recruits.
WHATÂ JONAS WILLIAMSÂ SAYS ABOUT OREGONÂ
Head coach Dan Lanning and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Will Stein were the two staff members Williams cited as playing a pivotal role in his choice.
“Will Stein and Dan Lanning, they are men of integrity and I feel a sense of trust with them,” he said. “And I feel like they will develop me into the player and man I want to be. I think the offense fits my playing style. I really like how Coach Stein teaches, and the school provides a variety of resources for their players.”
