Having already won 3-1 in Guildford earlier this season, the Giants welcome the second-placed Flames to the SSE Arena trailing them by four points and two games in the standings. Indeed, 3-1 has been the scoreline the last three times these teams have met. It’s the Flames’ first trip of the season to Belfast, while both teams will be on planes to England on Saturday.

There will be new faces on both sides of the ice when Cardiff Devils host Glasgow Clan at the Vindico Arena. Taz Burman has joined the Devils to help their goaltender injury crisis, while Clan added added defenseman Chris Martenet after forward Gary Haden left the team. The Devils, back from IIHF Continental Cup action, are unbeaten in three league games and currently top the table. Clan were on a two-game league win streak until they were beaten by four goals in Belfast.
