The Hendrick Motorsports NASCAR Xfinity Series program returns in 2025 and is anchored by development prospect Corey Day and engineered by crew chief Adam Wall.

Day gets 10 races, the vast majority of the schedule for the car, as Hendrick seeks to develop the Sprint Car ace into a Stock Car driver through appearances across ARCA, Craftsman Trucks and this Xfinity Series platform.

But as has been the case for the past four years, the No. 17 car will also feature all four Cup Series drivers taking turns in the series as well.

Wall spent last season as a crew chief for JR Motorsports with Sammy Smith and Brandon Jones in both the 8 and 9 cars, respectively. Wall, 35, was a Hendrick Motorsports engineer from 2011 to 2015 and then at JR Motorsports from 2016 to 2018. He returned to Hendrick in 2019 and eventually won the 2021 Cup Series championship with Kyle Larson and Cliff Daniels.

“Hendrick Motorsports has opened a lot of doors for me,” Wall said. “Because of the valuable experience I’ve gained, I feel very prepared for this opportunity. I’m excited about the chance to go racing with our Cup drivers and work with a young talent like Corey. Anyone who follows dirt knows he’s the real deal. We have high expectations as a team and look forward to a great year.”
