Gonzaga opened the season with an 82-69 win over Montana. Yvonne Ejim, one of the top mid-major players in the country, scored 17 points on 7-for-11 shooting and pulled down 10 rebounds in the win. Meanwhile, Allie Turner had 18 points, six rebounds and four assists in her first game with the program. Can the freshman guard keep it up?

Stanford has a new head coach this season as Kate Paye took the program over after Tara VanDerveer’s retirement. So far, the Cardinal looks to be continuing their winning ways. The team is coming off a 94-65 win over former Pac-12 rival Washington State, fueled by 19 points from Elena Bosgana and 18 from Nunu Agara.
